At Heaven’s Gate, we serve as End of Life Guides, often referred to as Doulas. The term Doula originates from ancient Greece, where it represented a woman who supported others during both the birth of a child and the passing of a loved one. Our mission is to help you celebrate death as a Home Going for the Soul or Spirit, marking the end of earthly suffering and pain. We embrace this role as a spiritual calling. Our aim is to alleviate distress through understanding, compassion, empathy, grace, and tact. We address our patients’ fears and anxieties, ensuring that their deeply held wishes for care, hopes, beliefs, practices, and preferences are honored. We encourage active participation in End of Life Planning, legacy projects, and thoughtful reflection, creating lasting treasures for your loved ones. Our services encompass vigil planning, funeral arrangements, grief and bereavement support, and the creation of checklists to guide you through this profound time. Beyond our core offerings, we provide personalized support tailored to each individual’s journey. Our dedicated team is here to listen, guide, and help you navigate the complexities of end-of-life decisions with dignity and grace.
